About Shea Coutts

Shea Coutts (she/her) has dealt with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) since early childhood, but with support from her family, she found numerous tools, and strategies to help her manage it. This experience—and her professional experience coaching, mentoring, and working with kids across communities in the South Okanagan—inspired her to write Wool of Worry.

Shea has a Bachelor of Arts degree from UBC, with a double major in Sociology and Cultural Studies. She resides within the Okanagan, British Columbia, where she has been involved in various community youth programs. In addition to writing, Shea loves animals and playing sports, both things she finds help with anxiety.

Buy the Book

Wool of Worry is available through numerous book sellers worldwide; however, the avenues I recommend are the following, for two different reasons:

Friesenpress

The best way to support the author

This is the best way to support me, the author, directly. Purchasing your copy through Friensenpress ensures that almost the entirety of the proceeds, save for the manufacturing costs, go directly to me.

Pros: Choosing this option you have decided to support me, which means the world—especially considering this is my first published book. With this in mind, I have reduced the cost of both softcover and hardcover versions of the book.

Cons: Unfortunately, the shipping fees with this route are significantly higher. With this in mind I recommend this route for larger orders in order to save money on shipping costs.

Indigo

Canada wide, in store pickups available & affordable shipping

Indigo/Chapters/Coles have locations all over Canada, with in store pickup and home delivery available

Pros: You can order to your local store and pick up there (Skipping shipping costs altogether).

Cons: Currently, only the softcover version is available. A major portion of the book’s revenue will go away from the author.
